Installation Frame for KNOWLED P1200R

The Godox installation frame is built exclusively for the KNOWLED P1200R LED light panel. It provides a secure, wobble-free mounting platform that keeps the panel stable during studio or location work. Professional photographers and videographers who own this fixture gain a dedicated rigging point that simplifies setup and protects the light head. Users without the P1200R panel cannot use this frame.

Build Integration and Mounting

The frame attaches directly to the P1200R body and presents standard mounting points for stands, clamps or overhead rigs. It replaces improvised brackets, freeing up grip equipment and reducing the number of loose parts on set. Because the frame is model-specific, it does not fit other LED panels or light heads. Builders needing a universal bracket for mixed fixtures will need a different accessory.

Sustained Use Behaviour

The frame’s durable construction maintains alignment and clamping force after repeated mounting cycles and long shooting days. It resists flex that could shift the panel’s aim during extended takes or multi-camera setups. No active cooling or moving parts are involved, so performance does not degrade with heat buildup. Users seeking integrated cable management or powered mounting features will not find them here.

Questions about this item

What limits the Godox installation frame during sustained use with the KNOWLED P1200R?

The frame is a passive mechanical mount with no electronics, so it has no thermal, power or duty-cycle limit; the P1200R panel itself manages heat and runtime.

Does the frame add any noise, heat or power draw when the P1200R runs all day?

No — the frame contains no fans, motors or circuitry, so it produces zero noise, generates no heat and draws no power regardless of how long the light operates.

What must I already own for this frame to work?

You need the Godox KNOWLED P1200R LED light panel; the frame is purpose-built for that specific model and cannot mount other fixtures.
