Godox RFT-14 7.1" Bowens Reflector

The Godox RFT-14 is a 7.1-inch metal reflector designed for studio strobes and monolights with a Bowens mount. Its silver interior maximises light output for professional photography and video work. The compact diameter makes it practical for on-location shoots or smaller studio spaces. It suits photographers who need a durable, portable light-shaping tool.

60-Degree Beam Spread Performance

The reflector produces a 60-degree beam spread that distributes light evenly across the subject. The silver surface maintains consistent reflection efficiency during extended sessions without hotspots. Metal construction resists warping under continuous heat from modelling lamps or flash tubes. It delivers reliable output for sustained studio or location use.

Bowens Mount Compatibility Limits

The Bowens mount fits a wide range of compatible lighting heads but will not work with fixtures using proprietary bayonets or other mount standards. The 7.1-inch diameter restricts use with oversized modifiers or stacked accessories that require larger reflectors. Buyers needing wider coverage or different mount systems must choose alternative models.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.1" silver interior add noticeable heat during all-day studio sessions?

The reflector is passive metal with no electronics, so it generates no heat itself; it only redirects existing light output.

Which Bowens-mount strobes or monolights do I already need to attach this 60-degree reflector?

Any studio head or monolight fitted with a standard Bowens S-type bayonet will accept the RFT-14 directly.

Will the 14 cm reflector vignette or spill when paired with an older 7-inch grid or barn-door set?

The 7.1" diameter matches common 7-inch accessories, so legacy grids and barn doors designed for that size will fit without vignetting.
