Purpose & User

The Godox WH-M1 is a handheld wireless transmitter built for the WMicS1 system. It suits presenters, interviewers and lecturers who need a cable-free microphone that can be carried freely during live events or recordings.

Signal & Battery

UHF transmission with 96 selectable channels helps avoid interference and dropouts across a 262' operating range. Two AA cells power the unit for up to eight hours while the OLED display remains readable in bright light and a one-click mute switch silences the capsule instantly.

Build & Integration

An all-metal chassis provides rugged dependability and a comfortable grip for extended sessions. The transmitter pairs directly with the WMicS1 receiver, requiring no extra cabling or adapters, freeing the user to move around the stage or room without restriction.

Questions about this item

How do I install the WH-M1 transmitter and what step do people often miss?

Insert two AA batteries, power on, then match the transmitter channel to one of the 96 channels on the WMicS1 receiver; the step often missed is confirming both units show the same channel number.

What maintenance or replacement will the WH-M1 need later?

Replace the two AA batteries after roughly eight hours of use; the all-metal body and OLED display require no scheduled servicing.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the WH-M1?

Battery life ends after about eight hours, which is reached well before the 262-foot UHF range or the 96-channel selection becomes a constraint.
