2000W ATX power supply with 80plus Platinum efficiency for Supermicro systems

  • Product typeATX
  • 80plus Platinum efficiency cuts running costs
  • 2000W output powers dense multi-GPU systems
  • ATX form factor fits standard server chassis
  • Redundant 2-unit design keeps systems online

High-output server power supply

This 2000W unit targets enterprise chassis that demand continuous delivery at high load. It suits administrators building dense compute nodes or storage arrays where a single reliable source replaces multiple smaller modules. The 80plus Platinum rating confirms efficient conversion across typical operating ranges.

Redundant-form factor for hot-swap bays

The supply slides into compatible Supermicro redundant bays and locks without tools. It draws AC from the facility circuit and feeds the backplane directly, freeing internal drive cages from extra cabling. Builds that lack the matching hot-swap chassis cannot use this form factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 2000W unit shut down first from thermal limits when running continuously at full load?

The 80plus Platinum rating keeps efficiency high under sustained draw, reducing internal heat so the protection circuitry is less likely to trip before the load does.

How loud does the fan get and how much heat does the supply add to the rack during all-day operation?

Platinum-level efficiency at 2000W means less waste heat enters the chassis and the fan curve can stay lower, keeping acoustic output and exhaust temperature down during continuous use.
