godream 2000W CRPS Power Supply

The godream PWS-2K05A-1R is a 2000W CRPS power supply built for Supermicro platforms. It uses an ATX form factor and arrives new from the manufacturer. Each unit is tested working before it ships. This unit suits operators who need a high-output, redundant-ready supply for compatible server chassis.

Thermals noise and power draw

The 2000W rating defines the maximum continuous output the supply can deliver. A 5-unit redundancy scheme is supported by the CRPS architecture for fault-tolerant deployments. Fan speed and acoustic output scale with the actual load placed on the unit. Power draw at the wall will match system demand up to the rated capacity.

Questions about this item

How is the 2000W CRPS unit installed in a Supermicro chassis?

Slide the PWS-2K05A-1R into the CRPS bay until the latch clicks, then secure the thumbscrew; the step most people miss is fully tightening that screw so the hot-plug connector seats completely.

What maintenance will the 2000W CRPS supply need later?

Clean the intake mesh every few months with compressed air and listen for fan bearing noise; the internal fan is the only wear item and can be replaced by sliding the unit out and swapping the fan module.
