240W ATX power supply with 8-pin connector for Dell 7040, 3650, 3040, 3046 and 3655 desktops
This 240W ATX unit replaces the original power supply in Dell 7040, 3650, 3040, 3046 and 3655 systems. It uses an 8-pin connector that matches the motherboard header on these models. The part is new and corresponds to Dell part numbers B240NM-00, H240EM-00, L240AM-00, B240AM-02 and AC240EM-00.
It swaps in for a faulty or degraded factory supply without adapter cables or case modifications. The upgrade is worth it when the original unit no longer delivers stable power or has failed completely. It is not for builds needing higher wattage for discrete graphics cards or additional drive bays.
