This 240W unit carries part numbers 702307-001 and 702455-001 and is built for small-form-factor systems. It matches the original power supply used in Desktop 400, 600 and 800 G1 and G2 SFF models. The ATX-type design fits the standard mounting pattern for those chassis.

Thermals, noise and power draw

Rated at 240W continuous output, the supply delivers the power envelope specified for the supported desktops. Fan speed is managed by the unit's internal controller to balance cooling and acoustic output under normal loads. No additional connectors or adapters are required for the listed systems.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240W SFF power supply in a Desktop 400 G1, and which step is often missed?

Slide the unit into the SFF chassis until the latch clicks, connect the 24-pin ATX and 4-pin CPU cables, then screw the retention bracket — many forget the bracket screw.

What maintenance will the 240W SFF power supply need over time?

Blow dust from the intake vents every six months; the internal fan is sealed and not user-serviceable, so replace the whole unit if it becomes noisy or voltages drift.
