It is intended for system administrators and technicians who need a direct replacement for the NPS-730AB A model. Each unit has been tested and confirmed working before it leaves the supplier.

Drop-in fit for existing chassis

The supply uses the standard ATX form factor and the native connector layout required by the PowerEdge 2600, so it slots into the original bay without adapters or cable modifications. Questions about this item

Will the 730W output sustain continuous server loads without hitting a protection limit?

The unit is rated at 730W and tested working, so it should deliver its full rated power under sustained use as long as the server's demand stays within that figure.

How loud and hot does the NPS-730AB A get when the PowerEdge 2600 runs all day?

The supply uses its internal fan to exhaust heat from the chassis; noise and temperature will follow the server's own fan curve and the load placed on the 730W capacity.
