PWS-981-1S 980W ATX power supply

The godream PWS-981-1S is a 980W ATX power supply designed for servers and workstations that require substantial, reliable power delivery. It suits system builders and IT professionals assembling or maintaining high-density rack or tower platforms.

980W continuous output

The single specification that determines suitability is the 980W rated capacity, which defines the maximum continuous power available to all rails combined. Verify that the total system draw under full load remains within this limit before selecting this unit.

Capacity and headroom

A 980W unit comfortably handles multi-CPU configurations, several GPUs and large drive arrays typical of database or virtualization hosts. Headroom diminishes when multiple high-TDP accelerators are added, so calculate peak draw carefully for such builds.

Questions about this item

What does the 980W rating mean for my build?

The 980W rating indicates the maximum continuous power this unit can deliver to system components under load.

How does the ATX form factor affect compatibility?

ATX sizing means the unit fits standard ATX cases and uses the 24-pin main connector plus typical CPU and PCIe cables.

What clearance does the PWS-981-1S need inside the chassis?

The PWS-981-1S follows standard ATX dimensions, so it requires a case with a regular ATX power-supply bay and rear mounting holes.
