Wall-Mount Connector for 48" Panels

This steel and aluminium wall-mount post connects GOF freestanding privacy panels directly to drywall. It is designed for offices that need permanent, stable partitions without floor-mounted posts. The connector accepts one or more single panels and integrates with the GOF DF5 partition series. Buyers who need freestanding configurations without wall attachment should choose a different connector type.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

As a passive structural component, the connector generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no electrical power. It requires no active cooling or power supply in any installation scenario. The fixed mounting hardware remains silent during normal office operation. There are no thermal or acoustic considerations for this product.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

The connector maintains its mechanical grip on attached panels continuously without degradation. Steel and aluminium construction resists creep when panels remain mounted for extended periods. No periodic re-tightening or adjustment is specified by the manufacturer. Installations that exceed the recommended eight-foot spacing for additional safety legs may experience reduced lateral stability over time.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 48" H wall connector to drywall, and what step is often missed?

Secure the steel and aluminum post to drywall studs using appropriate fasteners; the critical step many skip is adding safety legs every 8 ft along straight runs for stability.

What part of the 48" H connector will need replacement first under normal office use?

The leveling glide at the bottom of the post wears first; it is excluded from the 1 3/4" W x 48" H measurement and takes floor contact stress.

What structural limit appears first when panels run continuously on the 48" H wall mount?

Straight-line runs require safety legs at least every 8 ft; without them the wall-mount connection becomes the failure point under lateral load.
