The GOgroove SonaVERSE UBR Blackout is a 2.0 channel soundbar powered by a 5-volt USB connection and driven by two dynamic drivers rated at 12 watts total. Its low-profile shape fits beneath a monitor to free desk space and uses a single 3.5 mm AUX cable for audio input. The unit weighs .8 kilograms and measures 41.91 in x 7.11 in x 5.59 in.

Bundled AUX cable and headset pass-through

A 3.5 mm AUX cable is included so the speaker works immediately with any device that has a standard headphone jack. The soundbar also provides front-facing 3.5 mm ports for headphones and a microphone, letting users plug in a headset without reaching behind the computer. A touch-sensitive volume dial with an LED indicator controls power and level directly on the bar.

Suits USB-powered stereo upgrade seekers

This speaker suits anyone who wants a simple stereo upgrade for a desktop or laptop without an external power brick. Buyers who need a separate subwoofer for deeper bass, wireless streaming, or higher output for a larger room should look at other solutions.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm AUX or microphone pass-through ports wear out and need replacement?

The 3.5 mm AUX and microphone pass-through are passive jacks with no moving parts; they do not require scheduled replacement.

What limits output during long sessions at full volume?

The 12 W RMS rating and USB 5 V supply cap continuous output; the amplifier will compress peaks before the drivers overheat.

How hot or noisy does the unit get when running all day?

The low-profile enclosure stays near room temperature and has no fan; only a faint LED glow indicates power.
