Universal 3.5-inch Bay Adapter Kit

This four-pack of metal brackets lets you mount 2.5-inch SSDs or hard drives into standard 3.5-inch internal drive bays. Each tray is built from 100 per cent metal with a hollow base that helps dissipate heat. Thirty-two mounting screws are included for a straightforward installation.

For Single-Drive Upgrades Not Multi-Bay Arrays

The kit suits anyone adding one or two SSDs to a desktop that only has 3.5-inch bays available. Builders who need to populate many bays at once or who require tool-less trays for frequent drive swaps should look at something else.

Four Trays and Thirty-Two Screws in One Pack

The package contains exactly four adapter brackets and thirty-two screws, so you can equip up to four drives without buying extra hardware. This quantity decides whether the kit matches your build or if you need a larger or smaller pack.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a single bracket or the 4 pack for my build?

The product is sold as a 4 pack containing four metal trays and 32 mounting screws, so you receive four brackets in one purchase.

Will my 2.5 inch SSD run at full speed when mounted in this bracket?

The bracket is a passive metal tray with a hollow bottom for heat dissipation; it adds no electronic limitation to the drive.

What drive interface does this bracket support and what does that cap in practice?

The bracket accepts any 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD and fits a standard 3.5 inch internal bay; the drive’s own connector determines the interface.
