  • Weatherproof ABS housing withstands outdoor conditions
  • 12-step dial provides precise volume control with true off position
  • 150 watts per channel handles high-power speaker systems
  • Low-voltage passive design installs easily without external power
  • Compatible with 4, 8 and 16 ohm speakers using shorting bars

Outdoor Volume Control Pair

This two-piece set provides independent level adjustment for a pair of outdoor speaker zones. The passive, low-voltage design installs without mains wiring and suits both DIY and professional installations. Each unit mounts via four screw holes in a weatherproof grey ABS housing rated for exterior use.

150 W per Channel Power Handling

The controls accept 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker loads and manage up to 150 watts per channel from any amplifier with raw speaker outputs. Shorting bars on the rear set the correct impedance match when driving multiple pairs. Connections accommodate wire up to 14 gauge for secure termination.

12-Step Attenuation with True Off

A rotary dial delivers twelve discrete attenuation steps plus a genuine first-position off setting for silent zones. Independent grounds prevent ground-loop interaction between zones when several controls share one amplifier. The CL3-rated in-wall wiring requirement ensures sustained load stability across the whole-house audio system.

Questions about this item

How loud can the 150-watt rating actually drive outdoor speakers?

The control handles up to 150 watts per channel from your amplifier, so it will pass the full power your amp delivers to 4, 8 or 16-ohm speakers without adding distortion.

What does the 12-step dial change in a real installation?

Each click gives a distinct attenuation level and the first click is a true off position, letting you balance volume zone by zone from silent to full output.

Will the 2.75 by 4.5 by 2.75-inch housing fit a standard PVC junction box?

The weatherproof ABS case includes a 1-inch PVC fitting and four screw holes, so it mounts directly to a standard conduit box or any flat surface.
