Ultralight Camping Chair, 3.3 lbs

This portable camping chair weighs 3.3 lbs and folds into a compact package with a carrying strap. It is built for backpackers, hikers and beach-goers who need a seat that adds minimal bulk to a pack. The 7075 aluminum alloy frame supports up to 330 lbs on uneven ground.

Who should choose this, who should not

Solo travellers and festival attendees who value quick 20-second setup and a slim profile will appreciate the design. Buyers needing a wider seat, a higher back or a reclining option should look at larger camp chairs.

Weight capacity decides fit

The chair is rated for 330 pounds, so anyone near or above that limit must select a heavier-duty model. Users well below the rating can rely on the X-frame stability for camping, fishing or garden use.

Questions about this item

How do I unfold the 7075 aluminum alloy frame and lock the X-support legs so the chair holds 330 lbs?

Pull the frame apart until the four legs snap into the X shape, then press each corner down firmly until you hear a click confirming the joints are seated.

What part of this chair wears out first and how do I replace it?

The polyester seat fabric will show abrasion before the 7075 aluminum alloy frame; replacement covers are not supplied, so plan to buy a new chair when the fabric fails.

At what point does the 3.3 lb frame start to flex during a long sit?

The 7075 aluminum alloy frame remains rigid up to the 330 lb capacity; sustained loads near that limit may cause slight leg splay on soft ground.
