Cloud fleet management for non-profits

This Google Chrome OS Management Console licence provides a web-based console to deploy and centrally manage Chrome devices and users. The three-year agreement includes new-release updates and is priced for non-profit organisations. A single licence covers one managed device seat.

Suited to non-profits managing Chrome fleets

Organisations that qualify for non-profit pricing and need to configure policies, apps and network settings across many devices will benefit. Groups that do not hold non-profit status, or that manage Windows, macOS or mobile endpoints instead of Chrome OS, should look at other solutions.

Adds central control to Chrome deployments

The console runs in a browser so no on-premise server is required. It lets administrators create user groups, pre-install or block apps, enforce network and proxy settings, track asset assignments and customise themes. A Google Workspace or Cloud Identity domain is needed to activate the licence.

Questions about this item

Do I need a Google Workspace or Cloud Identity account before I can activate this Chrome OS Management Console license?

Yes, the console is administered through the Google Admin console, so an existing Google Workspace or Cloud Identity domain is required to apply policies, manage users and enrol devices.

Can I use this license to manage Chromebooks that are already enrolled in a different domain?

No, each device can belong to only one domain at a time; you would need to deprovision the hardware from the old domain before enrolling it under this licence.

How can I confirm the three-year support entitlement is active after purchase?

Sign in to the Google Admin console, open Billing → Subscriptions and verify that the Chrome OS Management Console entry shows an active status with a renewal date three years from the activation date.
