Unlocked 64GB Pixel 2 XL

The Google Pixel 2 XL is a fully unlocked smartphone with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo on a Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. The 6.0-inch pOLED display delivers a 2880 x 1440 resolution at ~538 ppi. A 12.2MP rear camera and 8MP front camera handle photos and video.

Best for stock Android users.

This handset suits buyers who want a pure Android experience directly from Google with guaranteed platform updates. The single Nano SIM slot and eSIM support cover most carrier activations. It does not suit users who require a microSD card slot for additional local storage beyond the fixed 64GB.

64GB fixed internal storage

The decisive specification is the 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. With no microSD slot, all apps, photos, videos and system files must fit within this capacity. Buyers who anticipate needing more space should consider a different model.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the Nano SIM and what step is often missed?

Insert the Nano SIM into the single tray using the eject tool; the step often missed is activating the built-in eSIM by downloading carrier credentials instead of relying only on the physical card.

What component will need replacement first with daily charging?

The non-removable lithium-ion battery degrades after hundreds of charge cycles and is the first part to require service.

At what point does sustained heavy use hit a thermal limit?

The Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor throttles clock speeds when temperatures rise during prolonged gaming or video rendering.
