Bathroom Rug Size and Purpose

The Gorilla Grip bath rug measures 24 by 17 inches and fits in front of a shower or tub. It suits households that want a soft, absorbent surface for wet feet and a non-slip backing that stays put on dry floors.

Upgrade From Thin Mats

This rug replaces thin cotton or microfiber mats that slide easily and dry slowly. The three-quarter-inch memory foam adds cushioning that relieves pressure on feet, while the velvet top layer absorbs more water and resists fading through repeated washes.

Simple Placement and Care

Lay the rug on a clean, dry floor; water underneath can make it slip despite the rubber dots. Machine wash and tumble dry as needed, but check that corners lie flat after each wash to keep the non-slip surface effective.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 by 17 inch rug fit in front of my standard bathtub?

The rug measures 24 inches long by 17 inches wide, a common size for tub-side placement. Measure your clear floor space to confirm it fits without overlapping the tub edge.

How do I install the rug so the non-slip dots actually grip the floor?

Place the rug on a completely clean, dry floor with the dotted rubber side down. Press firmly across the entire surface, especially corners, then test with one foot before stepping on fully.

How often can I machine wash the memory foam bath rug without damaging it?

The rug is designed for repeated machine washing and drying. Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and tumble dry low to preserve the memory foam and velvet top.
