Dual-sensor fridge kit

This two-pack places a wireless probe in both a refrigerator and a freezer. Each sensor reports temperature to a single gateway that connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The system suits home kitchens, hot tubs or any cold storage that needs remote oversight. Up to ten sensors can pair with one gateway.

Sustained monitoring stability

The probes measure from -40° to 158°F with ±0.9°F accuracy and a two-second refresh. A software fix removes false low-temperature alerts during compressor cycles. An adjustable anti-false alarm delays notifications by one to ten minutes after a threshold breach. Two years of free data export let you review long-term trends.

Simple magnetic or hanging mount

A magnetic back attaches the gateway to any metal surface. An included lanyard allows hook mounting. A separate holder with adhesive secures probe cables neatly. Side buttons switch between °F and °C on the LCD, which also shows remaining battery level. The app mirrors the unit change and handles alarm setup.

Questions about this item

Does the thermometer generate any heat or noise while it runs continuously inside a fridge?

The unit is a passive sensor with an LCD display and no fan or compressor, so it adds no measurable heat and makes no audible noise during 24/7 operation.

What must I already own to use the WiFi gateway and receive app alerts?

You need a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and a smartphone running the GoveeLife app; the gateway pairs with up to 10 sensors and requires no subscription.

Will the probe cables and magnetic mount work with an older refrigerator that has thick seals or metal shelves?

The slim, sturdy probes and cables fit easily past door seals, and the magnetic back or included lanyard and adhesive holder attach to any metal surface or hook.
