  • Power via USB-C or two AA batteries

Portable Cassette-to-SD Converter

This portable cassette player converts tapes to MP3 files stored on a FAT32 microSD card of 8 to 16 GB. It also plays cassettes and SD card recordings through the built-in speaker or 3.5 mm headphone jack. Power comes from two AA cells or the supplied USB-C cable. The matte black finish and precise transport buttons suit students and archivists preserving personal recordings.

AM/FM Tuner with External Mic Input

The integrated tuner covers FM 87 to 108 MHz and AM 520 to 1710 kHz with a built-in antenna for stable reception. An external microphone socket lets you record live events or radio programmes directly to cassette or SD card. Recording can be started and stopped with the front-panel controls while monitoring through headphones.

FAT32 Card Limit and AA Battery Dependency

Only FAT32-formatted microSD cards between 8 and 16 GB are supported, so larger or exFAT cards will not work. The player has no internal rechargeable cell; portable use relies entirely on two AA batteries, and the USB-C port provides power only, not data transfer. Buyers needing higher-capacity storage or built-in rechargeable power should consider other devices.

Questions about this item

Does the Gracioso cassette player get noisy or hot when I run it all day on AA batteries?

The unit uses two AA cells or the supplied USB-C cable and has no fan; it stays cool and silent during extended playback or recording sessions.

What must I already own to start converting my tapes to digital files?

You need a FAT32-formatted microSD card between 8 GB and 16 GB; the player records directly to that card without a computer.

Will my old 3.5 mm headphones work with this player for private listening?

Yes — a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack is built in, so any wired headphones or earphones plug straight in.
