Playback-Only Cassette Player

The FiiO CP13 is a portable stereo cassette player built for playback-only use. It targets listeners who want a high-end portable option for enjoying analog sound from legacy collections or modern cassette releases on the go. Its dual-color all-aluminium chassis combines ergonomic design with durable, hard-oxidised buttons and a large analog volume potentiometer for reliable, tactile control.

High-Voltage Motor Stabilisation

Unlike typical players that run on 1.8V or 3V supplies, the CP13 uses a 4.2V power supply paired with a motor speed stabilisation circuit. This increases motor drag as needed to maintain stable tape movement speeds, reducing unwanted pitch changes and enabling compatibility with a wider variety of cassette tape types than lower-voltage alternatives.

Battery Life and Charging

The integrated 1800mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery delivers up to 13 hours of continuous playback. Before ordering, verify that the playback-only function matches your needs, as the unit does not support recording. Ensure you have a suitable USB power source for recharging the internal battery between listening sessions.
