Graco 286617 Airless Spray Tip .017

This Graco 286617 tip produces a 12 to 14 in spray pattern at .017 orifice size. It handles up to 4050 psi for airless spraying tasks. The reversible design clears clogs quickly. A OneSeal tip seal is included for reliable sealing.

Ideal for fine finish work, not high volume

Painters needing a 12 to 14 in fan for detailed trim or cabinet work will match this tip. Contractors covering large walls or exteriors needing wider patterns should choose a different tip size. The .017 orifice limits flow for heavier coatings.

Tip size .017 decides coating fit

The .017 orifice controls material flow and atomization for thin finishes like stains or lacquers. Verify your sprayer manual lists 20L049 compatibility before fitting this tip. Incorrect orifice size causes poor finish quality or tip wear.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 286617 tip is spraying a proper 12 to 14 in pattern at .017 orifice?

After setup, trigger the gun on a test surface; a uniform 12 to 14 in fan with no tails or heavy edges shows the .017 tip is working as intended.

What comes with the 286617 tip and what else is needed to use it?

The box includes the tip and a OneSeal tip seal; you must supply a compatible Graco airless gun such as the 20L049 and a pump rated for 4,050 psi.

When should I choose the .017 tip over other sizes?

Select the .017 tip when the job calls for a 12 to 14 in fan at 4,050 psi max pressure; larger orifices give wider fans, smaller ones give narrower fans.
