Graco XHD511 Airless Spray Tip

The Graco XHD511 is a reversible airless spray gun tip with a 0.011 inch orifice. It produces a 10 in to 12 in fan pattern and operates at a maximum working pressure of 7,250 psi. The tip uses a 7/8 in thread size and is finished in gray.

Suited for fine finish work

This tip suits painters applying thin coatings such as lacquers or stains through Graco XHD or RAC X guards. It is not for users needing higher flow rates for heavy architectural coatings or those using spray guns with a different thread specification.

0.011 in orifice size determines coating suitability

The 0.011 in tip size controls the fluid flow rate and the resulting finish quality. Match this orifice to the coating manufacturer's recommendation and the sprayer's output capacity to ensure proper atomisation.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 7/8 in thread tip onto my Graco XHD511 gun, and what step do people forget?

Screw the tip onto the 7/8 in thread until it seats firmly, then tighten the guard nut; the step often missed is confirming the reversible seat clicks into the locked position before spraying.

When will the 0.011 in orifice need replacement under daily use?

Replace the tip when the 10 in to 12 in pattern narrows or develops tails, typically after several thousand litres depending on coating abrasiveness.

What is the first limit reached when spraying continuously at high pressure?

The 7,250 psi maximum working pressure is the hard ceiling; exceeding it risks tip failure and unsafe operation.
