Natural DEET-Free Mosquito Repellent

Grandpa Gus's Natural Mosquito Repellent Spray uses plant-based geraniol, lemongrass, and peppermint oils to repel mosquitoes for up to 6 hours and ticks for up to 8 hours. The 4 oz bottle is made in the USA and features a non-greasy formula that will not stain clothing or gear. It is dermatologist-tested and safe for children when applied by an adult.

Families Needing Plant-Based Protection

This spray suits adults and children looking for a DEET-free option for the campsite, backyard, hiking trail, or beach. It is not intended for use on pets. Buyers who want a wearable device or a stationary yard trap should look at something else. The formula requires reapplication every six hours for continuous coverage.

Check Skin Sensitivity and Travel Rules

Before ordering, confirm that no user has a known sensitivity to geraniol, lemongrass, or peppermint oils. The 4 oz liquid container must comply with carry-on liquid limits if you plan to fly with it. Shake the bottle well before each use and apply to hands first when treating the face.
