The GWN7701P adds eight Gigabit RJ45 ports with Power over Ethernet to a small office or home network. The switch forwards traffic at wire speed across all ports with a 9216 byte jumbo frame limit. Broadcast, multicast and unicast storm control is fixed at 100 Mbps to protect the backplane during traffic spikes. QoS applies strict priority to tagged frames when present, keeping latency-sensitive streams stable under continuous use. Passive PoE delivers up to 30 W per port within the 802.3 af/at budget.
