The Grandstream GXP2140 is a new desktop IP telephone built for enterprise and SMB users who handle high call volumes. It supports four lines and four SIP accounts with five-way voice conferencing. HD audio is provided on both the speakerphone and handset. A 4.3 inch colour LCD with 480 x resolution gives clear menu visibility.

Dual Gigabit ports with PoE

Connectivity relies on two auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps switched Ethernet ports with integrated Power over Ethernet. The second port can pass the network connection to a PC, but the link speed is limited to 1000 Mbps. Calls use G.711, G.722, G.726, G.729 and iLBC codecs with in-band and out-of-band DTMF via RFC2833 and SIP INFO. No wireless or Bluetooth capability is included.

Four-line SIP capacity

The decisive specification is the four-line, four SIP account limit with dedicated line keys.
