Four FXS ports and dual Gigabit Ethernet

The Grandstream HT814 v2 is a VoIP gateway that provides four FXS ports for connecting analogue phones or fax machines to a SIP network. An integrated NAT router handles traffic between the two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The unit supports two SIP profiles and includes automated provisioning via TR-069 and XML configuration files.

Suits small offices moving legacy handsets to IP

Organisations that need to keep existing analogue devices while adopting SIP trunking will find the four FXS ports and built-in routing convenient. Buyers who require more than four analogue lines or who need a separate router for advanced network management should consider a different solution.

Built-in NAT router rated at 100 MBps routing

The single specification that determines fit is the router’s maximum routing speed of 100 MBps. Networks with sustained WAN traffic above that level will need an external router, while lighter loads can run directly through the gateway.
