What it is and who it is for

The GravaStar Alpha65 is a 65W GaN wall charger with a poseable mecha-robot design that folds flat for travel and stands upright for display. It targets users who want a single compact adapter for a laptop, phone and accessories while adding a distinctive desktop accent.

The specification that decides fit

One USB-C port delivers up to 65W alone, the second USB-C port reaches 20W and the USB-A port reaches 18W. When two or three ports are used together the total output remains capped at 65W, so simultaneous charging splits that budget across the connected devices.

Capacity and headroom

A MacBook Air can reach 51% in 30 minutes from the 65W port, while phones and tablets draw their maximum supported rates from the 20W and 18W ports. Heavy multi-device loads will see each port share the 65W ceiling, so a large laptop plus two phones charges more slowly than the laptop alone.

Questions about this item

How fast will a MacBook Air charge from empty using the single 65 W USB-C port?

The charger delivers up to 65 W on USB-C 1, taking a MacBook Air from 0 to 51 % in 30 minutes when used alone.

What happens to the power split when I plug in two or three devices at once?

With two ports the first USB-C drops to 45 W while the second USB-C stays at 20 W or USB-A at 18 W; with three ports the first USB-C remains at 45 W and the other two share the remaining 15 W.

Does the foldable plug and robot stance affect how much desk or wall space it needs?

The prongs fold flat for wall outlets, and the mecha legs let it stand upright on a desk without increasing the footprint.
