  • Standard US layout for familiar typing experience
  • No backlight keeps the design simple and light
  • Six fixing screws provide a secure installation
  • CE certified for safety compliance

Compatible ThinkPad models

This replacement keyboard fits Lenovo ThinkPad T460s and T470s laptops. It follows the US layout standard and carries CE certification. The part is supplied new and is intended for owners of those specific models who need a direct keyboard swap.

No backlight and six fixing screws

The unit has no backlight function and uses six screws for mounting. These two details determine whether the keyboard matches the original hardware in your machine. If your current keyboard is backlit or uses a different screw count, this part will not align correctly.

Check your existing keyboard before ordering

Verify that your T460s or T470s originally shipped without a backlit keyboard and that it is secured with exactly six screws. Ribbon-cable seating can affect key response after installation, so plan to reseat the connector carefully if any keys do not register. Buyers needing a backlit keyboard or a different screw pattern should look for an alternative part.

Questions about this item

Does the keyboard ribbon cable need periodic replacement on the ThinkPad T460s?

The ribbon cable is part of the keyboard assembly; if keys stop working after installation, reseating the cable usually resolves it rather than replacing the cable.

What is the first limitation when typing continuously on this US-standard layout?

The layout follows US standard key placement, so the main limitation is personal adaptation to that arrangement during extended sessions.

How much heat does the keyboard area generate during all-day use?

The keyboard itself produces no measurable heat; any warmth comes from the laptop chassis beneath it.
