Questions about this item

What does the 150 Mbps Wi-Fi rate mean for actual use?

The 150 Mbps figure is the maximum link speed under the 802.11n standard on the 2.4 GHz band; real-world throughput will be lower due to overhead, interference and distance.

How does the USB interface and Bluetooth 4.0 spec limit performance?

The adapter plugs into a USB port for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0; USB bandwidth and the Bluetooth 4.0 specification cap the maximum data rates for each function.

What physical space does the USB dongle need to fit?

The mini portable dongle plugs directly into any standard USB Type-A socket and protrudes only a short distance, so it fits alongside other ports without blocking them.
