What it is and who it is for

This eight-pack of GREENCYCLE compatible 12X black toner cartridges replaces the HP Q2612X original. Each cartridge yields roughly 3000 pages at five percent coverage. The set suits offices and home users who print high volumes of text and graphics on supported LaserJet and MFP devices and want a lower cost per page.

Installation and common pitfalls

Shake each cartridge horizontally to distribute toner evenly, then remove the transparent seal or orange plastic ring completely before inserting it into the printer. The built-in smart chip communicates with the listed models so the printer recognises the cartridge immediately. Forgetting to pull the seal fully is the main cause of blank or streaked pages.

Practical limits of the standard

Page yield is measured at five percent coverage on Letter-size paper; heavy graphics or dense text will reduce the actual count. The cartridges are designed only for the HP LaserJet 1010, 1012, 1015, 1018, 1020, 1022, 3015, 3020, 3030, 3050, 3052, 3055, M1005 and M1319f series. They cannot be used in printers outside this compatibility list.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the smart chip is recognised after installing a cartridge?

The printer should display the toner level and allow printing without a cartridge error; print a test page to confirm clear, crisp text and graphics.

What comes in the box and what must I supply?

Eight black Q2612X toner cartridges are included; you only need a compatible HP LaserJet printer from the listed models and paper.

Which pack size should I choose for a LaserJet 1020?

The 8-pack gives 3,000 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage, so select it if you want a bulk supply for that printer.
