GREENCYCLE CF280A toner cartridge 8-pack black 2700 pages

Eight-pack replacement for HP 80A CF280A

This eight-pack supplies eight new black toner cartridges built to replace the HP 80A CF280A original. Each cartridge is rated at up to 2,700 pages at five percent coverage on Letter paper. The set fits LaserJet Pro 400 M401, M401a, M401d, M401dn, M401dne, M401dw, M401n and MFP M425dn, MFP M425dw models. It is intended for offices or home users who print mainly monochrome documents and want a ready supply on hand.

Yield measured at five percent coverage

The 2,700-page figure assumes standard Letter pages with only five percent toner coverage. Pages heavy with graphics, dense tables or solid fills will consume toner faster and reduce the actual count. Environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature can also shift the realised yield. Buyers who regularly print full-page photos or solid-colour blocks should expect fewer pages per cartridge than the rated number.

Install by shaking then removing the seal

Installation follows four steps: remove the cartridge from its wrapper, shake it horizontally six to eight times to spread the toner, pull the sealing tape completely out, then insert the cartridge into the printer. A smart chip on each unit handles printer recognition automatically. The most common issue is forgetting to pull the sealing tape fully, which prevents toner flow and causes blank or streaked pages.
