Compatible Drum Unit for Brother Laser Printers

The GREENCYCLE DR420 is a new compatible drum unit designed for Brother monochrome laser printers including the HL-2280DW, MFC-7360N and DCP-7065DN series. It replaces the OEM DR-420 drum and is sold as a single black unit for office, school or home environments that need reliable daily output.

Rated Yield of 12000 Pages at 5% Coverage

The decisive specification is the approximate page yield of 12000 pages measured at 5% coverage on Letter or A4 paper. This figure determines whether the drum matches your expected print volume before a replacement is required.

Consistent Output Over the Rated Life

The drum is engineered to maintain clear, crisp text and graphics across the full 12000-page rating rather than only in short bursts. Print quality remains stable throughout the unit's lifespan, supporting steady workflow in busy environments.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 12000-page drum unit actually last in a real office printer?

The 12000-page yield is measured at 5% coverage on Letter or A4 paper; heavier text, graphics or duplex printing will reduce the usable life accordingly.

Does the DR420 drum unit use a standard interface that limits which Brother models it fits?

The drum unit is a direct mechanical replacement for the Brother DR420 and fits the listed DCP, HL, MFC and Fax models without any electrical interface restriction.

What physical space or mounting points does the DR420 drum unit need inside the printer?

The unit matches the original DR420 form factor and slides into the standard drum bay of compatible Brother laser printers; no extra brackets or adapters are required.
