Compatible drum unit for Brother printers

The GREENCYCLE DR420 is a new black drum unit built to replace the Brother original in laser printers. It delivers up to 12000 pages at 5 percent coverage and ships as a single sealed pack. Offices, schools and home users receive OEM-level compatibility without the premium price. The unit fits a wide range of Brother DCP, HL, MFC and Intellifax models.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers who own any listed Brother laser printer and need a direct drum replacement will find the correct fit here. The cartridge is not for colour printing, inkjet devices or machines outside the stated compatibility list. Organisations requiring MICR toner for cheque processing must choose a different product. High-volume environments that exceed the rated yield should plan for more frequent changes.

Deciding specification — page yield

The rated yield of 12000 pages at 5 percent coverage on Letter or A4 paper is the figure that determines whether this drum meets your volume needs. Compare your average monthly output against this number to schedule replacements. No other specification in the data sheet overrides this limit for planning purposes.
