What this pack contains

This set includes three black toner cartridges rated at 2,600 pages each and two drum units rated at 12,000 pages each, all built to match Brother TN450 and DR420 specifications. The five items arrive in a sealed box with protective bags for clean storage until needed. It is a complete refresh kit for compatible laser printers.

Who benefits and who does not

Offices, schools and households running any of the listed Brother HL, DCP, MFC or Intellifax models can use this pack for routine monochrome printing. Buyers who need colour output, MICR encoding or higher-yield consumables will not find them here. The kit also does not suit printers outside the declared compatibility list.

The yield figures that decide fit

Each toner cartridge delivers up to 2,600 pages at 5% coverage while each drum unit lasts up to 12,000 pages under the same test condition. If your typical print volume far exceeds or falls well short of these numbers, the cost-per-page balance will shift accordingly. Check your average monthly pages against these ratings before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the DR420 drum unit and TN450 toner cartridge fit my HL-2270DW printer?

Yes, the DR420 drum and TN450 toner are compatible with the HL-2270DW and the full list of Brother HL, DCP, MFC and Intellifax models listed in the specifications.

How do I install the TN450 toner cartridge into the DR420 drum unit, and what step is often missed?

Slide the TN450 cartridge into the DR420 drum until it clicks, then press the green lock lever down to secure it; forgetting to press the lever leaves the cartridge loose and causes print errors.

When will I need to replace the DR420 drum unit versus the TN450 toner cartridges?

Each TN450 toner yields up to 2,600 pages at 5% coverage, while each DR420 drum lasts up to 12,000 pages, so you will replace toner roughly four times before the drum needs changing.
