Five-Cartridge Set for Brother Laser Printers

This GREENCYCLE kit supplies five TN460 black toner cartridges and one DR400 drum unit. It fits a wide range of Brother DCP, HL, Intellifax and MFC laser printers including the DCP-1200, HL-1240, MFC-8300 and Intellifax 4750. The set is designed for offices that print high volumes of monochrome documents.

Replaces Separate OEM Toner and Drum Purchases

Each toner cartridge yields up to 6000 pages at .05 coverage while the drum unit lasts up to 20000 pages. Buying the five-pack with a drum avoids the hassle of ordering cartridges individually and matches the rated life of the original Brother TN460 and DR400 supplies. The jump is worthwhile when your current drum is near its page limit or print quality shows wear.

Verify Printer Model and Drum Compatibility

Confirm that your Brother printer appears in the compatible list such as HL-1030, HL-1430, MFC-9750 or Intellifax 5750 before ordering. The DR400 drum must match the printer’s drum slot; some models use a different drum unit even if they accept TN460 toner. Check the existing drum’s part number on the unit itself to be sure.

Questions about this item

Does the DR400 drum unit fit the Brother HL-1240 and MFC-9750 printers?

Yes, the DR400 drum is compatible with the HL-1240, MFC-9750 and all other Brother models listed such as DCP-1200, HL-1230, Intellifax 4750 and MFC-9800.

What is the correct order for installing the TN460 toner into the DR400 drum unit?

Shake the new toner cartridge 6 to 8 times, remove the orange protective cover, then insert the toner cartridge into the drum unit before placing the combined assembly into the printer.

When should I replace the DR400 drum unit versus the TN460 toner cartridges?

Replace each TN460 toner after approximately 6,000 pages at 5% coverage; the DR400 drum unit lasts for about 20,000 pages, so one drum covers roughly four toner cartridges.
