Bundle contents

This pack contains two TN830 black toner cartridges and one DR830 drum unit, all new and ready for laser printing. Each toner is rated for approximately 1200 pages at 5% coverage, while the drum unit is rated for 15000 pages under the same conditions. The bundle suits offices or home users who want a complete replacement set in one order.

Chip behaviour

Each cartridge carries a chip that communicates with the printer; the supplier notes that a "Non Brother Toner" prompt may appear and should be confirmed with "Yes". If the printer displays "445446" or a cartridge error, a restart is advised to clear the message. These steps are specific to this compatible set and differ from original Brother supplies.

Questions about this item

When will the DR830 drum unit need replacement?

The DR830 drum unit is rated for 15000 pages at 5% coverage, so it lasts through roughly twelve TN830 toner changes.

What stops me printing continuously with these TN830 cartridges?

Each TN830 cartridge yields about 1200 pages at 5% coverage; after that the toner runs out and you must swap cartridges.

How much heat or noise do the TN830 and DR830 add during all-day printing?

The cartridges and drum are passive components; they add no fan noise or extra heat beyond the printer’s own laser engine.
