Compatible toner and drum combo

This pack contains four GREENCYCLE TN850 black toner cartridges and three DR820 black drum units. It is designed as a replacement set for a wide range of Brother laser printers used in offices, schools and homes. The bundle suits users who want a single purchase that covers both consumable components. It is not suited for colour printing or for printers outside the listed Brother series.

Print yield and daily operation

Each TN850 toner cartridge is rated for up to 8000 pages and each DR820 drum unit for up to 30000 pages, both measured at 5 percent coverage on letter-size paper. The components are built for laser print technology and aim to deliver clear text and crisp graphics throughout their rated life. No figures for power draw, noise or thermal output are provided for these consumables.

Packaging and cost saving

The cartridges and drums arrive in a packing box with multi-layer sealed bags and anti-seismic bubble wrap to protect them during transit. The supplier states the compatible set can reduce printing costs by up to 80 percent compared with original cartridges. There is no bundled software or chip resetter included; the units are intended for direct installation in the compatible Brother models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TN850 toner and DR820 drum combo in my HL-L6200DW, and what step do people often miss?

Insert the DR820 drum unit first, then slide the TN850 toner cartridge into it until it clicks; the step many miss is removing the orange protective cover from the toner before insertion.

When will the DR820 drum unit need replacement after the TN850 toners are used up?

Each DR820 drum unit is rated for 30,000 pages at 5% coverage, so one drum typically outlasts three to four TN850 cartridges rated at 8,000 pages each.

What print-quality limit appears first during long, continuous print runs on the MFC-L6900DW?

The toner cartridge reaches its 8,000-page yield before the drum reaches its 30,000-page limit, so faded or light prints from toner depletion show up first.
