1/24 Scale 1978 Plymouth Fury LAPD Model

This 1/24 scale diecast replica recreates the 1978 Plymouth Fury in black-and-white LAPD Hot Pursuit Series 9 livery. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists who value authentic police vehicle detail. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Diecast Construction With Opening Doors

The body is made of diecast metal with select plastic parts, chrome accents and real rubber tyres. Both front doors open to reveal a detailed interior that matches the exterior finish. True-to-scale proportions are maintained throughout the limited-edition casting.

Display Dimensions And Material Limits

The model measures approximately nine inches long, three inches wide and 2.75 inches high, fixing its footprint for shelf or cabinet display. Diecast metal provides weight and rigidity but cannot withstand rough handling or repeated door cycling. Plastic components and painted surfaces may chip if the piece is dropped or exposed to sustained heat.

Questions about this item

Does the diecast model generate any noise, heat or power draw when displayed continuously?

No — it is a static 1/24 scale replica with no motor, electronics or batteries, so it produces no sound, warmth or power consumption.

What additional items are required before the 1978 Plymouth Fury can be shown?

Nothing extra is needed; the model arrives fully assembled in its original box with opening front doors, detailed interior, chrome accents and real rubber tires ready for display.

Will the 2.75-inch tall Fury look proportional next to older 1/24 scale diecast cars in my collection?

Yes — it is built to true 1/24 scale with accurate dimensions, so it matches the size and proportions of other 1/24 models you already own.
