65 W Surface power adapter

This 65 W AC adapter replaces Microsoft part numbers Q5N-00001, W8Z-00001 and Q4Q-00001. It supplies 15 V at 4 A to Surface Book, Surface Laptop, Surface Pro and Surface Go models listed in the compatibility data. A built-in USB port adds 5 V at 1 A for charging a phone or accessory. The unit is new and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certification.

Sustained 65 W delivery

The adapter is rated for continuous 65 W output at 15 V, so it maintains full power during long work sessions without throttling. Circuit protection guards against over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit conditions while keeping current stable. Low self-discharge behaviour means the brick stays ready after periods of non-use. Testing confirms voltage accuracy under load.

Compact black brick with USB

The black enclosure measures 3.5 by 2 by 0.95 inches and weighs .8 lb, making it easy to carry in a laptop bag. A fixed mains lead and a proprietary Surface connector plug directly into the device, while the extra USB-A port sits on the brick for convenient top-up charging. No detachable cables or interchangeable tips are included.
