The GreenTechLLC RBC22 is a 24V 7AH sealed lead-acid battery cartridge designed to replace APC Battery Cartridge #22. It fits the listed APC Back-UPS SU700 and SUA750 rack-mount and tower units. The cartridge arrives tested, charged and ready to install. It restores backup runtime for compatible UPS systems.

Verify UPS Model and Voltage

Confirm that your UPS unit appears on the compatibility list: SU700R2BX120, SU700R2IBX120, SU700RM2U, SU700RMI2U, SUA750R2IX38, SUA750R2X122, SUA750R2X338, SUA750RM2U or SUA750RMI2U. Ensure the existing cartridge is labelled RBC22 or Battery Cartridge #22 and operates at 24V. Check that the battery bay accepts the 13.5 x 8.5 x 3.3 inch form factor.

Integration and Clearance

The cartridge slots directly into the UPS battery compartment using the existing connector layout. Its two 12V 7AH cells deliver the required 24VDC without wiring changes. The 14 LB weight matches the original cartridge, so no additional mounting support is needed. Installation frees the UPS to resume full runtime protection immediately.

Questions about this item

Does the GreenTech RBC22 cartridge arrive as a single unit or do I need to buy extra connectors?

The cartridge is a complete, pre-wired 24V 7AH unit that fits directly into the listed APC Back-UPS models; no additional cables or connectors are required.

My UPS is an SUA750RM2U — is this the correct cartridge or do I need a different capacity?

Yes, the RBC22 replaces the original cartridge for the SUA750RM2U and all other models listed, delivering the specified 24V 7AH rating.

What does the 24V 7AH rating actually provide once the cartridge is installed in my SU700RM2U?

It restores the UPS to its original 24-volt, 7-ampere-hour runtime, using two 12V 7AH cells wired in series inside the 13.5 x 8.5 x 3.3-inch housing.
