Compatible VLT-XL6600LP replacement lamp

This GreenTechLLC projector lamp replaces the OEM VLT-XL6600LP module for Mitsubishi FL6900U, FL7000U, HD8000, WL6700U, XL6500LU, XL6500U, XL6600LU, XL6600U and XL6700 models. It delivers 275 watts of power in a compatible housing and bulb assembly. The unit is sold new and ready for installation.

Upgrades from a dimming or failed OEM lamp

When the original lamp reaches its rated hours or brightness drops below usable levels, this module restores full output without changing the projector. The jump is worth it when the existing lamp shows colour shift, flicker or an on-screen replacement warning. It fits the same socket and housing dimensions as the factory part.

275-watt output with 1500 to 3000-hour life

Normal mode provides 1500 hours of operation while economy mode extends that to 3000 hours, giving flexibility between brightness and longevity. The lamp comfortably handles daily classroom or meeting-room schedules. It runs out when the hour counter reaches the selected mode limit or when brightness degrades past the projector's acceptable threshold.

Questions about this item

What projector models accept the VLT-XL6600LP lamp housing dimensions?

The lamp measures four inches in height, width and depth and fits Mitsubishi FL6900U, FL7000U, HD8000, WL6700U, XL6500LU, XL6500U, XL6600LU, XL6600U and XL6700 projectors.

Which step is often missed when installing the VLT-XL6600LP replacement lamp?

After seating the housing, the projector’s lamp-hour counter must be reset through the menu so the 1500-hour normal or 3000-hour economy timer starts from zero.

When should the VLT-XL6600LP lamp be replaced based on rated life?

Plan replacement at 1500 hours in normal mode or 3000 hours in economy mode; the 275-watt bulb will dim noticeably as those limits approach.
