Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 1017UM 17mm socket generate during extended use?

What drive tools must I already own to use this 3/8" drive 17mm socket?

You need a 3/8 inch drive ratchet, breaker bar or impact wrench to turn the 1017UM socket on fasteners.

Will the 1017UM 6-point 17mm socket fit older 3/8" drive ratchets I already have?

Yes, the 1017UM uses the standard 3/8 inch square drive, so it works with any 3/8" drive ratchet or extension regardless of age.
