Gripmax SureGrip Pro Sport summer tire

The Gripmax SureGrip Pro Sport is a high-performance summer tire built for passenger cars, SUVs and CUVs. It carries a 295/25ZR20 95Y XL size description with a 295 mm section width and 20-inch rim fitment. The overall diameter measures 25.8 inches and the tread depth is 10/32 inch when new.

Drivers wanting dry and wet summer grip.

This tire suits drivers who want confident dry and wet traction during warm months, backed by a UTQG 280AA rating and a 50,000-mile treadlife projection. It is not for buyers who need winter or all-season capability, run-flat mobility, or a tire approved for sub-freezing temperatures.

Speed rating Y for 186 mph maximum

The Y speed rating certifies sustained operation up to 186 mph, making it the single specification that decides whether this tire matches the vehicle’s top-speed requirement. The XL load range and 95 load index support the corresponding weight demands of high-output passenger chassis.

Questions about this item

What does the 95Y rating mean when the tire is on my car?

The 95 load index and Y speed rating indicate the tire supports up to its rated load at speeds up to 186 mph.

How does the 20-inch rim size limit fitment choices?

The tire is built for a 20-inch diameter wheel only; it cannot be mounted on any other rim diameter.

What clearance does the 295 mm section width and 25.8 inch overall diameter need?

The tire measures 295 mm wide and 25.8 inches tall, so wheel arches and suspension must accommodate those dimensions.
