  • UL 647B listing confirms safety compliance
  • Not certified for potable water systems

Groco PTH750 Bronze Hose Barb

The Groco PTH750 is a 3/4" NPT to 3/4" hose barb fitting made from C83600 bronze. It provides a straight pipe-to-hose connection for marine plumbing and irrigation systems where standard flow is required.

Installation notes

The male NPT threads seal with standard pipe sealant or tape. Bronze threads can gall if forced, so hand-tighten plus one to two turns is typical. The C83600 alloy is not compliant with NSF-61, so it must not be used in potable water lines.

Suitability

This fitting suits builders needing a durable bronze transition from rigid pipe to flexible hose in non-potable systems. Buyers who need a lead-free or drinking-water approved fitting should look at alternatives certified to NSF-61.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Groco PTH750 fitting is installed correctly and leak-free?

After threading the 3/4" NPT end into the mating port, tighten to the recommended torque, attach a 3/4" ID hose to the barb, secure with a clamp, then pressurise the system and inspect every joint for drips.

What comes with the Groco PTH750 and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains only the bronze straight fitting; you must supply a 3/4" ID hose, a suitable hose clamp, and thread sealant or tape for the NPT connection.

Which Groco PTH750 version should I select for a standard 3/4" NPT to 3/4" hose application?

Choose the PTH750 model, which provides a 3/4" male NPT thread on one end and a 3/4" hose barb on the other, made from C83600 bronze and UL 647B listed for non-potable water use.
