Survival Game for PS4

Starsand is a new PlayStation 4 video game published by GS2 Games. It places you alone in a vast desert after a sandstorm separates you from your group. The experience focuses on gathering resources, building shelter and managing exposure to extreme heat and cold. Two moons in the night sky hint at a deeper mystery behind your isolation.

Open World Scale

The game world spans over 64 km2 of desert terrain filled with monuments, artifacts and creatures from different eras. Dynamic weather and day-night cycles create shifting threats that require planning and timely action. Exploration is bounded by the map size and the survival mechanics that limit how far you can travel without preparation. Players seeking a compact or linear campaign will find the scale demanding.

Single-Player Survival Focus

The product is a single-player survival action title with no multiplayer or cooperative modes included. Progression depends on mastering resource loops, crafting defenses and learning enemy patterns in a solitary setting. Buyers who want competitive or co-operative play should look elsewhere. The game targets players who enjoy methodical, self-directed survival challenges.
