Purpose-Built Floor Protection

The GTR Simulator Racing Simulator Floor Mat is a 24 by 62 inch protective base designed specifically for GTR Racing Simulator models. Its antislip bottom and synthetic leather top shield hardwood, tile or carpet from gouges, scrapes and migrating carpet fibers. The textured surface absorbs impact and eliminates vibration during use.

Coverage Limits and Material Constraints

The mat covers a fixed 24 by 62 inch footprint and is 1/8 inch thick, so simulators with wider bases or multiple motion platforms will extend beyond its edges. The synthetic leather top resists wear but is not rated for sharp metal feet or heavy point loads beyond normal simulator use. It rolls up for storage but does not fold flat.

Simple Placement with Minor Caveats

Installation consists of unrolling the mat and positioning the simulator on top; the antislip bottom grips most floors without adhesives. On thick pile carpet the mat can shift slightly under hard braking, and the synthetic leather may show temporary creases after the first unroll. Regular cleaning requires only a damp cloth.

Questions about this item

Which size of the GTR Simulator floor mat should I choose for my simulator?

The mat measures 24 by 62 inches and is designed to sit under all GTR Racing Simulator models, so this single size covers every compatible setup.

What does the 1/8 inch thickness do for my floor and rig stability?

At 1/8 inch thick the mat absorbs impact, eliminates vibration and provides a firm, nonslip surface that keeps the simulator steady while protecting hardwood or carpet from gouges and fibre migration.

How does the antislip bottom and synthetic leather top work together on hard floors?

The antislip bottom grips the floor while the textured synthetic leather top holds the simulator feet, so the whole rig stays in place during hard braking or sudden direction changes.
