21.5" IR Touch Overlay

This 21.5-inch infrared touch overlay adds two-point touch control to a compatible display. It connects through a USB interface and is recognised as a standard HID device. The frame uses a metal construction with 3 mm tempered glass for durability. Driver-free operation is provided for Windows, Android and Linux, while macOS requires the supplied HID driver.

Suits kiosk and signage builds

Integrators building interactive kiosks, touch monitors or all-in-one units for indoor or sunlit environments will find the anti-light-interference design suitable. The overlay is manufactured to match only a 21.5-inch panel, so it cannot be used on displays of any other size, including the 55-inch format referenced in the supplier notes. Buyers needing touch on a different screen diagonal must select another model.

Exact 21.5" panel match required

The single specification that determines compatibility is the screen diagonal: the overlay fits only a 21.5-inch display. No adjustment or adaptation for other sizes is possible, so the buyer must confirm their panel measures exactly 21.5 inches before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will this 21.5" IR touch overlay fit my 21.5" monitor exactly?

The overlay is built only for 21.5" displays; compare the supplied dimension drawing with your monitor's active area and outer bezel before purchase.

What is the tricky step when mounting the metal frame and tempered glass?

Align the frame precisely to the screen edges before tightening; even a slight offset blocks the IR grid and causes dead zones.

Does the tempered glass ever need replacing, and how?

The 3 mm anti-vandal glass is part of the frame assembly; if it cracks you replace the entire overlay rather than the glass alone.
