85-inch infrared touch overlay for interactive

This 85-inch infrared touch frame adds 10-point multi-touch capability to compatible flat-panel displays. It targets integrators building interactive kiosks, digital signage, whiteboards or exhibition installations. The aluminium bezel houses the IR sensors and connects via USB. No cover glass is included, so the installer supplies and fits the protective layer.

Upgrade from non-touch or lower-point displays

The overlay converts a standard 85-inch 16:9 monitor into an interactive surface without replacing the panel. The jump is worthwhile when the application demands simultaneous multi-user input such as collaborative whiteboarding or way-finding kiosks. Projects that only need single-touch or operate on smaller screens will not benefit from the larger format and higher touch count.

Limited to 85-inch 16:9 panels

The frame fits only displays whose active area and outer dimensions match the supplied drawing; any mismatch prevents installation. USB HID drivers are provided for Windows, Android and Linux, while macOS and iOS require a separate HID driver obtained from the vendor. Android TV boxes are not supported. Bright sunlight does not interfere with touch accuracy.

Questions about this item

What display size and aspect ratio does the 850-IR frame overlay fit?

The frame overlay matches an 85 inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, so the screen you mount it on must share those exact dimensions.

How is the IR touch frame installed, and what step do installers often miss?

The frame ships without glass and includes an installation manual; the step often missed is verifying the display’s outer dimensions against the supplied drawing before mounting.

What ongoing care will the infrared touch overlay need after installation?

Keep the IR sensor bezels free of dust and debris, as blocked emitters or receivers will cause missed touches and require cleaning to restore accuracy.
