EcoGuard Diamond Floor Mat

The Guardian EcoGuard Diamond Floor Mat is a rectangular wiper mat measuring 36 inches wide by 120 inches long in charcoal. Its carpeted surface uses recycled PET bottles while the crumb rubber backing comes from used tires. This construction suits indoor entryways, hallways and lobbies where dirt and moisture control are needed.

Installation and common issues

The mat lays flat on hard floors or low-pile carpet without adhesives thanks to its slip-resistant rubber backing. Beveled fabric borders reduce trip hazards at the edges. Problems arise if the mat is placed on thick pile or uneven surfaces where the backing cannot grip, causing movement or curling at the corners.

Sustained use behaviour

Bi-level construction traps dirt and moisture below the surface so the top layer stays cleaner during continuous foot traffic. The .25 inch thickness and 99 percent post-consumer recycled content maintain wear resistance over time. Routine cleaning requires only sweeping, shaking or vacuuming to restore appearance.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the EcoGuard Diamond floor mat is working as intended after I lay it down?

The bi-level construction traps dirt and moisture below the carpeted surface, so the top stays clean and dry while the textured crumb rubber backing keeps the mat firmly in place on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

What comes in the box with the Guardian EcoGuard Diamond Floor Mat and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the single rectangular mat measuring 36 by 120 inches with a charcoal carpeted surface, bevelled fabric borders and recycled rubber backing; no additional hardware or cleaning tools are included.

Which version of the Guardian EcoGuard Diamond Floor Mat should I choose for my entryway?

This model is offered in one rectangular size — 36 inches wide by 120 inches long — with a charcoal finish and 0.25 inch thickness, so select it when those dimensions fit your doorway or hallway.
