EcoGuard Diamond Chairmat 48 x 96

The Guardian EcoGuard Diamond Chairmat measures 48 by 96 inches and provides a protective floor surface for office chairs. Its charcoal finish suits professional environments. The mat is made from recycled materials including a carpeted surface sourced from drinking bottles and a crumb rubber backing. It is designed for use on carpeted floors.

Replaces worn or basic chairmats

This mat upgrades from thinner, single-layer protectors that curl or crack over time. The bi-level construction traps dirt below the surface so debris does not grind into carpet fibres. The jump is worth it when an existing mat no longer stays flat or when a workspace requires a surface made from recycled content. The crumb rubber backing resists wear better than standard vinyl backings.

Sustained daily rolling load

Under continuous chair traffic the bi-level structure keeps the top surface stable while the rubber backing grips the carpet. Dirt falls into the lower channels instead of accumulating on top, so rolling resistance stays consistent. The recycled PET carpet surface maintains its texture without matting down. The mat is new and built for long-term daily use.

Questions about this item

What floor area does the 48 x 96 chairmat cover?

The mat measures 48 inches by 96 inches, covering a 4 by 8 foot zone under your desk and chair.

How do I position the single-fan EcoGuard Diamond mat so it grips the carpet correctly?

Lay the recycled crumb-rubber backing face-down on the carpet; the diamond-pattern top stays up. People often flip it and lose the bi-level dirt-trap action.

When should I replace the recycled-bottle carpet surface on this Guardian mat?

Replace it once the diamond-pattern fibres no longer spring back or the crumb-rubber backing shows permanent compression marks.
